Taking
a step over the threshold, dressed in work clothes and carrying a
light. The place beyond is dark and fathomless, like the death of
materialism, the bottomlessness of eternity. The doorway is shaped like
that of a church and it seems like a gateway through which one passes
and doesn't return.
This
image speaks of self-guidance, of seeking in places where there is no
sensory stimulation, of introspection and finding one's own way.
Somehow
the ball of light looks a bit like an Orange, and the blue work clothes
are clear evidence that this person is not a tourist.
I
use the these images to portray my current spiritual circumstances.
They are very effective, and the ones that I like the most are Ed Buryn's.
